2018 Matchbox Volkswagen Delivery Van

Image
This Volkswagen Delivery Van actually describes itself on its sides as the Matchbox International Express.  This vehicle, made in Thailand, was selected by Oscar because it is the latest addition to the collection, arriving just this morning.  Oscar says "I like it because it is classic and beautiful."   Oscar wants to talk about the beautiful blue, which reminds him of the Caribbean Ocean off the coast of Bimini,  Bahamas.   These tires look ready for action! This back seems to have a lot of room for whatever this van needs to deliver.    Oscar likes this van because the front has a the Volkswagen emblem ant has huge doors on the passenger side of the vehicle.  The back has a great glass window and a license tag.

'85 Honda City Turbo II

Image
This sporty hot hatchback may be one of the smallest cars to appear in the museum, but it packs a lot of power.  This 2017 Hot Wheels rendition of the 1985 Honda is a very sweet ride.  Oscar says that he "likes the shiny silver car because it really stands out.  It looks really realistic." The windshield looks cool according to Oscar, but the moon-roof is exceptional.  Sporting a number 85 on the side, this car is race ready, yet also suitable for a drive around town.   The Honda emblem on the back of this car, the lights, as well as the license plate help make this car truly realistic.  Oscar also really likes the gold wheel rims.

Today Oscar's Hot Wheels Museum is pleased to present you a 1994 Bugatti, made in 2020 by Hot Wheels in Malaysia.  This donated to the museum from Paul Zube and David Schrock - we thank them for their support.   Oscar says that the light blue color really catches your eye and its very realistic.  He particularly likes the back of the car very much because of its detailed lights and license tag. Oscar also appreciates that the engine is in the back - this car looks REALLY fast, especially with its high profile spoiler on the back. The front of this car "looks really sick" according to Oscar and he likes how you can see through the windshield into the car.   The exhaust pipe looks cool and realistic. Thank you for reading!

Hot Wheels Metro Bus

This bus was made in 2020 in Malaysia, but was released as part of the new 2021 Hot Wheels lineup.  This is a Rapid Routes Bus 52, and the name on the bottom says it is called "Ain't Fare." Oscar says "I like this bus because it looks very realistic and the bright orange color at the top of this bus really makes it stand out."  This bus also has a lot of details, including a bike on the front bike rake. Oscar says about that back that "I like the back because it is very shiny and silver.  Also the back has the engine." Other great details on this bus include the four exhaust fans on the top of the bus, the seats inside the bus, as well as the two sets of doors for getting on and off.  Oscar's dad really likes the way the wheels are set inside the bus giving it a low-rider look.  Oscar adds "that the cab looks very realistic and very cool!"

This Matchbox vehicle, made in Thailand in 2017, is from the Fenski Automotive Center in Sugar Hill, GA.  They claim to be "Your Expert Automotive Consultants."  Oscar says "that I like this van because it looks really realistic and I like the dark blue color."   His father really is impressed with the skylight on the roof of the van.  He also thinks it is nice to see that the van is connected with his home state of Georgia.   Oscar wants to add that this van's back is also realistic.  This van came to Oscar's collection as a reward for his earning ten "punches" at school for good behavior this week.

This 2018 Hot Wheels car features a Mercedes Benz Search and Rescue vehicle.  This truck made in Malaysia, is numbered HS-RSQ.  Oscar says "I like the two extra wheels in the back." This car was a recent purchase during a trip to Meijer.  All of the wheels look very strong according to Oscar, and in honor of his mother Oscar imagines that this vehicle has heated seats. Oscar wants to add that this truck looks really realistic.

Oscar has created a new competition to see which car has the honor of making the next blog post.  This process involves eight cars racing around the coffee table in two heats of four.  The winners of the heats make the final, and this first event has a winner - this 24H Prototype.   Oscar imagines that this car is so hot in has to have air conditioning.  It is a matte finish and Oscar thinks it looks like a very sporty car. Oscar says that the bottom of the car is a beautiful red.
